Our journey began with a personal touch
Boarding with Becky started during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I lost my pup, my job, my grandma, and my dad, all while trying to adjust to being a newly empty nester. The quiet felt overwhelming. I missed having companionship, purpose, and something to care for.
In that space, I started watching pets here and there – not as a business at first, but just to have some life back in this house and love to give. What I quickly realized was how healing it was for me to care for them, and how much they needed a calm, loving, home-style place while their families were away.
Creating a true home away from home
Making pets feel loved and "at home" is really about consistency, comfort, and emotional security – not just playtime. We keep their routines as close to home as possible, and by learn their personalities (not just instructions). We make sure they have their own spot, and calm energy matters more than constant activities.
But rest assured, we've got the fun covered too, with an acre fenced yard, doggie pools, toys, and tires. Their day will never be boring! It’s more like "your pets' preferred home away from home," with no cages, just snuggles and love.
More than just a business, it's personal
I didn't start this business because it was trendy or purely strategic. I started this because I understood what it feels like to need comfort and companionship. I found healing in caring for animals.
Boarding with Becky began in a personal season of loss, and caring for your pets became something that filled my home with purpose and love again. What began as something personal slowly grew into Boarding with Becky – a place built on comfort, companionship, and treating every pet like family.
